Here in the autumn of 2016 I taught a short course on basic JavaScript at PBA in web development. With only five lessons assigned the idea was not that students should become masters in JavaScript but just get introduced to the language and some of the different librariesthat extend it.
Since it wasan internationalclass the teaching was in English, and therefore slideshows likewise.
In the fifth and last lesson we looked at AJAX and REST in jQuery, summed up and looked at some funny examples of using JavaScript on websites.
